Sustainability
We practice Green Building, a sustainable design that increases the efficiency with which buildings use energy, water, and materials and reduces building impacts on human health. This often includes using sustainable and recycled materials during construction, installing HVAC systems, plumbing, lighting, and appliances with high energy efficiency, redesigning and upgrading the “envelope” of the exterior shell for the climate through proper windows, doors, and insulation, using healthier interior products and systems that improve air quality, lowering water usage where possible, and placing the structure so that it effectively uses the environment for the benefit of the home’s residents. Our aim is to design ideal homes that cost homeowners and the environment as little as possible.
